Ginna is the program leader for the Bachelor of Design (Game Design). Ginna teaches into Creative Writing, English, and Game Design courses at UniSC. Her research focuses on philosophical concepts of belonging, along with representations of connectivity within artistic expressions. Ginna has published in script-writing, poetry, and song writing. In 2017, Ginna became a fellow with the Higher Education Academy. Ginna is part of the editorial collective for Social Alternatives.
