About the Committee
The Executive Committee of Academic Board is a sub‑committee of Academic Board that supports the effective operation of the Board between its scheduled meetings. The Committee considers and determines matters requiring urgent attention that cannot be addressed through the Board’s normal meeting cycle or standard governance processes.
In carrying out its responsibilities, the Committee may seek information or advice from any Board, Committee or relevant University officer to ensure appropriate oversight and informed decision‑making.
Decisions made by the Executive Committee on urgent items of business are reported to Academic Board at its next meeting.
