“When I left school, I didn’t really believe in myself enough to take on further education, so uni wasn’t on my radar. TAFE felt doable as an in-between. I was then working as an enrolled nurse when co-workers suggested I should continue with the degree. So, I ripped off the band aid, applied to UniSC – and have loved it every minute since. My favourite part is the labs, being part of a uni lifestyle and making heaps of friends. The application and credit process was so smooth, and I received an entire year off my studies. I got to fast-track my degree and save money at the same time.”
