Growing up on a station out west, Abbey is passionate about giving back to communities similar to those she grew up in. During her dietetics studies at UniSC, she gained hands-on, practical work experience at a number of health organisations throughout Queensland, including Hervey Bay, Townsville, Mt Isa and the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, which has led her to securing a graduate position in Mt Isa. Abbey is excited to experience life in the Mt Isa community and contribute to the health and well-being of the township through her role as a community outreach dietitian with North and West Remote Health.
