Primary goals
  • The primary goal of this research is to understand the challenges and potential for developing effective incentivisation mechanisms – in the form of livelihoods – to engage people in large scale community-based reforestation. 
Key outcomes
  • Analysing people’s decision-making to participate and sustain long-term engagement in reforestation programs: insights for improving the incentivisation mechanisms.

This project commenced in June 2023 and is set to finalise by Feb 2026.
