In this extended placement, you will apply advanced assessment and decision-making in acute, subacute, and mental health settings. Across 160 hours of supervised practice, you will refine safe, person-centred care for individuals with complex needs. You will consolidate leadership, uphold the NMBA Registered Nurse Standards for Practice and National Safety and Quality Standards, and critically reflect on your role in team-based care and Cultural Safety. 2027 January Session commences week 1* Trimester 2 commences three weeks early* *for start dates please refer to your nursing calendar
