This course will give an overview of Pharmacology with a specific focus on the drugs which affect cholinergic and noradrenergic transmission. The course also discusses, with a focus on mechanism of action, drugs which affect the major organ systems of the body including the cardiovascular, respiratory, reproductive, gastrointestinal, urinary, and central nervous systems. Enzymes as drug targets and enzyme kinetics are also discussed, as is the process of new drug discovery.
