Apply for additional Headstart courses

Studying additional Headstart courses lets you:

  • Create a pathway to uni. By completing two or more Headstart courses, you’ll gain a selection rank to apply for a degree at UniSC
  • Gain additional credit toward a future UniSC degree
  • Save money with additional courses subsidised at $400
  • Gain an additional two QCE points per successfully completed course

How to apply for an additional course

Check with your school before starting an application. Continuing Headstart applications can be started by you or your School Headstart Coordinator. Your school will let you know which option to use.

To undertake another Headstart course, you must successfully complete your previous Headstart course. You don't need to wait for your final grade before applying. If your result isn't available when your application is assessed, your continued enrolment will be conditional on successfully completing your previous course.

If you're not sure what to study next, explore your options on the Choosing a course page.

Start your own application

If you're new to the Headstart Application Portal, create an account. If you've used the portal before, sign in to your existing account. Select Continuing Enrolment Application, complete the online application and select the course, study location and study term you want to apply for.
