Headstart

Application for Headstart Program

Year 10, Year 11 and Year 12 students can apply through UniSC's Headstart Application Portal to study first-year courses while still at school.

If you are a home-schooled student please contact information@usc.edu.au to request information on how to apply.

Early Offer Guarantee

Early Offer Guarantee application form

Complete the Early Offer Guarantee application form and meet with the Early Offer Guarantee Coordinator within your school. Please refer to Early Offer Guarantee for further information.

Tertiary Preparation Pathway (TPP)

Application for Tertiary Preparation Pathway (TPP)

Applications for admission to Tertiary Preparation Pathway are made directly to UniSC via ApplyUSC.

Exceptions:

 

Undergraduate program

Application for undergraduate degree, associate degree or diploma programs

Application for admission to undergraduate degree, associate degree or diploma programs are made online through the QTAC website.

The below applicants can apply online directly to UniSC *.

  • UniSC Tertiary Preparation Pathways (TPP) students who are currently enrolled in, or have had an enrolment in the previous two years; or
  • UniSC students who have completed an undergraduate program within the last two years, or are due to complete their program prior to their proposed semester of commencement; or
  • UniSC students who have completed at least one semester of study in their current program and want to study another program concurrently. Please note: not all program combinations are permitted for concurrent study, refer here for programs that are excluded for concurrent study.
  • Former UniSC students who have been excluded from study at UniSC; or
  • UniSC students who have completed their UniSC Diploma within the last two years, or are due to complete their Diploma prior to their proposed semester of commencement 
  • UniSC students who have completed an Undergraduate Certificate within the last two years, or are due to complete their certificate prior to their proposed semester of commencement

*The Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) and Bachelor of Midwifery are high demand programs, and therefore not available for direct applications. Applications for this program must be submitted via the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC).

Deferred students

Application to take up deferred place

If you currently hold a deferred place at UniSC, you can take up your deferred place by completing and submitting an online form. Go to: How to take up your deferred place

Note: Deferred applicants wishing to apply for admission into a different UniSC program must contact Student Central to find out how to apply.

  • For information about entry/admission requirements for undergraduate programs—refer to the specific program information page
  • Refer to Application dates * as some programs can close early, without notice

Honours programs

Application for honours programs

You must apply for End-on Honours programs via the ApplyUSC website. Refer to:

Please note: 

Applicants for End-on Honours programs (excluding Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology)(Honours)) need to complete the Application form for Honours - Nominated Supervisor and Topic as part of the application.

Applicants for the Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology)(Honours) are to attach a signed letter from your university stating that your degree pathway is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) (excluding UniSC graduates).

Postgraduate coursework programs

Application for Graduate Certificate in Urgent Care

Please note: To apply for admission to the Graduate Certificate in Urgent Care you need to apply through ApplyUSC and complete the following form as part of the application. For application closing dates refer to Application dates.

Application for Graduate Diploma in Midwifery

Please note: To apply for admission to the Graduate Diploma in Midwifery you need to apply through ApplyUSC. For application closing dates refer to Application dates.

The Graduate Diploma in Midwifery has a dedicated Pre-arranged Clinical Placement Sub-quota for applicants who have secured a verified paid or supernumerary midwifery clinical placement with an approved clinical provider. Applicants who have secured placement need to upload the completed form below when submitting their application through ApplyUSC.

Application for Master of Dietetics (Sports Nutrition)

Please note: To apply for admission to the Master of Dietetics (Sports Nutrition) you need to apply through ApplyUSC and complete the following form as part of the application. For application closing dates refer to Application dates.

Application of Master of Engineering (Professional)

To apply for admission to the Master of Engineering (Professional) you need to apply through ApplyUSC and complete the following form as part of the application. For application closing dates refer to Application dates.

Please note: To apply for admission to the Master of Engineering (Professional) you need to download the Application for Master of Engineering (Professional) specialisation form (PDF 118KB) and indicate the specialisation you are are eligible to apply for. When applying via ApplyUSC please attach the specialisation form in the Supporting Documentation (Page 5).*

Application for Master of Psychology (Clinical) and the Master of Professional Psychology programs

Please note: To apply for admission to the Master of Psychology (Clinical) and/or the Master of Professional Psychology you will need to apply through ApplyUSC and provide two referees (refer below). Applicants for the Master of Psychology (Clinical) and/or the Master of Professional Psychology also need to complete the Personal Statement form (link below). For application closing dates refer to Application dates.

Application for Master of Social Work (Qualifying)

Please note: To apply for admission to the Master of Social Work (Qualifying) you need to apply through ApplyUSC and complete the following form as part of the application. For application closing dates refer to Application dates.

Application for Master of Teaching (Secondary) and the Master of Teaching (Primary)

Applications for admission to the Master of Teaching (Secondary) and the Master of Teaching (Primary) are made through the QTAC website.

Exception: Applicants who have had an enrolment in the past two years in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree program at UniSC must apply directly via the ApplyUSC website.

Please note: Applicants for the Master of Teaching (Secondary) must also submit the Master of Teaching (Secondary) Nominated Teaching area form (PDF 123KB). When applying via ApplyUSC please attach the teaching area form in the Supporting Documentation (Page 5).

Application for all other postgraduate coursework

You must apply for all other UniSC postgraduate coursework programs via the ApplyUSC website

Microcredential applicants

Applications for Inclusive Digital Design for Business

This form is used to apply directly to the University for the Inclusive digital design for business microcredential.

Cross-institutional study

Application for cross-institutional study

This form is for students currently studying at another institution and wishing to enrol in UniSC course(s).

Note: If you are a current UniSC student and wish to undertake study at another institution, complete a cross-institutional approval form, available from the student forms and document requests page.

Visiting students

Application for visiting student

This form is used to apply directly to the University to complete one or more individual courses (subjects) for professional or personal development, rather than enrolling in an undergraduate degree program.

Credit transfer

Application for credit transfer

Use this online application form to apply for credit transfer towards your UniSC program for study completed at another institution, or to apply for recognition of prior formal or non-formal learning (based on prior work/professional experience). For more information, refer to:
